College Contributes a New Benefit to the Community
A College brings many benefits beyond the ones that are immediately evident. One of the latest examples is the outstanding level of support being provided for the February Kimberly/Cranbrook 2008 Winter Games. The use of College of the Rockies’ Cranbrook facilities by the Games includes accommodations, gym, computer labs for results and media centres, plus rooms for coaches and training. Add in janitorial service, security, various supplies and other incidentals, and the total contribution comes rings in a well over $10,000, making the College of the Rockies a member of the Kimberley-Cranbrook 2008 Winter Games esteemed “President’s Circle” of supporters.
