A Win-Win Combination

January 17, 2008 ... The Board of Directors of the BC Winter Games has donated several embossed hundred-silicone wristbands promoting the upcoming 2008 Kimberley-Cranbrook BC Winter Games to Selkirk Secondary and the Mount Baker Wild Junior Girls Basketball Team. The sale of these wristbands will continue to increase the awareness of the upcoming Games and generate an overall excitement. Touching base with these two groups will be the only way that one may purchase a soon to be coveted souvenir of the Games. Anyone interested in purchasing a wristband can do so starting this weekend at Mount Baker where the junior girls basketball team in conjunction with the Laurie Tigers will be hosting their home tournament. Play will commence after school on Friday January 18th in the Den at Mount Baker. Catch the spirit of the BC Winter Games and support junior girls basketball – a win-win combination.
